"We have three teenagers and in every photo I've tried to take over the last couple of years, they are either rolling their eyes or giving the death stare. In 15 minutes, Jen captured a variety of gorgeous family portraits where the kids are actually smiling nicely.
Anyone with teens knows it's tricky to get a nice picture of them. We booked a family shoot with Jen and were so delighted with the results. In a very short window of time, she nailed the brief with relaxed, candid family portraits and somehow got three uncooperative teenagers to smile nicely. They don't feel posed - she captured authentic moments of connection and we'll cherish these photos forever! "

We have two very little busy girls (two years old and nine months), and the shoot was in the evening when they were tired and full of big feelings — but Jen was absolutely incredible with them. "What a pleasure it is to see the skill and walk beside photographer @jenlouise_events . We have crossed paths at many events and this week it was the 2026 Industry @aacta awarda on the Gold Coast at @hotagc Jen captured this snap of me as I walked backstage after presenting three awards to outstanding Sound engineers in television, film, and documentary. Any photograph that captures you has been clasped like lightning from the sky but that requires observation, skill, and an ability to be in the moment but also project to what could or will potentially unfold.. thank you Jen for the wonderful work you do recording moments in time with such an eye to the image but ultimately to the motivation, the drive, and the heart behind it all.
